The Gender topics are a strong interest of mine. I expected that I would find the fact of humiliation of women in proverbs and sayings, because it was typical of that time. I feel compassion for the women of that time, but it is not the reason to be offended, now the attitude towards women around the world is much more respectful and honest than before (of course, there are some exceptions).
